Your First Page

Creating a New Page

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Pages → Add New
  2. Give your page a title
  3. Click the Edit with RAVENCIBuilder button above the editor

The Editor Interface

You will be taken to the live visual editor. The interface consists of:

  • Left panel — Element library, page structure tree, and settings
  • Canvas — Your live page preview where you drag, drop, and edit
  • Top bar — Responsive breakpoints, undo/redo, save, and preview controls

Adding Your First Element

  1. Click the + button in the canvas or drag an element from the left panel
  2. Start with a Section — this is the top-level container
  3. Inside the section, add a Column
  4. Inside the column, add elements like Heading, Text, or Button

Editing Content

Click any element on the canvas to select it. The options panel will appear on the left with tabs for:

  • General — Content, text, links
  • Styling — Colours, spacing, borders, shadows
  • Advanced — CSS classes, custom CSS, visibility

Saving Your Work

Click Save in the top bar, or use Ctrl+S / Cmd+S. Your changes are saved and immediately visible on the front end.
